We Don't Make Watches.
We Craft Legacies.
Sina Ade is a Nigerian luxury watch brand built on one simple belief: Africa has always produced things of extraordinary beauty — and the world deserves to wear them.
“I grew up watching my grandfather carve wood with the same precision a Swiss watchmaker approaches a movement. I thought: why not both? Why can't the hands that built our culture also build the watches that keep our time?”

Our Craft Pillars
Sustainability
We source only from forests with responsible harvesting practices. Every tree used is replaced with three.
Craftsmanship
Each watch takes 40–80 hours to complete. There are no shortcuts. There are no compromises.
Heritage
Our designs draw from Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa visual traditions — translated into modern wearable art.
Excellence
Every Sina Ade watch is quality-tested against Swiss standards before it reaches your wrist.
What Goes In Every Watch
From Forest to Wrist
Our wood is sourced from sustainably managed forests across West Africa — primarily Iroko, Obeche, and Afzelia hardwoods. Each plank is hand-selected, kiln-dried, and inspected for grain consistency before cutting begins. The shaping process is done with a combination of CNC precision and hand-finishing. No two wood watches are identical — the grain, colour, and natural markings ensure each piece is uniquely yours. We apply a food-safe, natural beeswax and linseed oil finish that enhances the wood's natural beauty while protecting against moisture and daily wear.
Cold-Forged. Warm by Design.
Our iron cases begin as solid billets, locally sourced from Nigerian foundries and certified metallurgically pure. The forging process compresses the steel under thousands of tonnes of pressure — creating a density and hardness that machined stainless steel cannot match. Each iron case is hand-ground through six progressive grits, then either polished to mirror finish or left brushed — depending on the model. The crown, pushers, and caseback are assembled by hand and pressure-tested to 5 ATM.
The Marriage of Earth and Metal
Our mixed material watches are our most ambitious pieces. The challenge of bonding organic wood to forged iron while maintaining temperature stability and precision tolerances demanded years of R&D. The result is a proprietary layering technique where thin veneers of hardwood are epoxy-bonded to a structural iron sub-case, then finished as one unified piece. The thermal expansion rates are matched to within 0.003mm — eliminating gaps, creaking, and delamination.
